Dead Pool is a fictitious anti-hero from the stripes of Marvel comics, which sometimes is put down as a super villain. He was created by Rob Liefeld and Fabian Nicieza, and first appeared in The New Mutants # 98 (February 1991). Deadpool is a high-tech mercenary known for his smart comments and black humor. Like Wolverine, he is a product of the Weapon X program. Deadpool was originally an enemy of the New Mutants and later X-Force. He got his own comic series in 1997, which was known for his slapstick humor and breaking the fourth wall. Currently Deadpool is working with Cable in the comic series Cable & Deadpool. Dead Pool exhibits many similarities to the DC Comics super villain Death Stroke. However, since Dead Polish introduced in the comics, the two characters evolves in a very different way.
