Batman Beyond (known as Batman Beyond in the United States) is an American animated series based on the Batman comics from DC Comics. The series is a production of The WB.The series is set in the future of the DC animated universe, and is a spin-off series Batman: The Animated Series and The New Batman Adventures. The series ran from January 10, 1999 t / m December 18, 2001. The series addresses the darker aspects of the Batman franchise, such as emotions, relationships, and fear of the unknown.The series was broadcast on Dutch Cartoon Network from February 5 to 31 July 2001. In the Netherlands, the series was also aired by RTL4 and Yorin. In Flanders, the series was broadcast in 2002 by VT4 and from 2002 to 2007 on VTM in TamTam.
