Lego is a series of plastic construction toys manufactured by The Lego Group, a privately held company based in Billund, Denmark. The Flagship product of the company, Lego, comprised of colorful, interlocking plastic blocks which accompany a series of gears, mini figures, and various other parts. Lego bricks can be assembled and connected in many ways to construct objects of vehicles, buildings and operating robots. Anything constructed can then be disassembled. The Lego Group began in 1949 with the production of the toy bricks interlocked. Since then it has developed a global Lego subculture. Supporting movies, games, contests and six Legoland theme parks are developed under the brand. 600 billion Lego parts were produced from July 2015.
