Released on the Sega Mega Drive (or Genesis for our North American friends) on 21st June 1991, the original Sonic the Hedgehog game quickly became one of the biggest games of all time, selling more than 40 million copies. This limited edition medallion in the shape of the logo from the first game measures 5 x 8 cm and is limited to 5,000 worldwide.
