In STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS, we discover that Admiral Marcus and Section 31 have abandoned Starfleet's ideals and created a true warship. The Vengeance is twice the size and three times as fast as a normal Starfleet vessel, it carries no markings and is armed to the teeth with phaser arrays and torpedo launchers. The movie's art department and vfx teams knew it as "the black ship" and gave it even more weapons than we saw on screen. The model is 8.5" (21.5 cm) long.
